As it is clearly mentioned on the official poster of Bigil that, the movie will have a release on Diwali 2019 and this year Diwali is on 27th October (Sunday) so the movie may release on 24th October (Thursday) as most of the Tamil movie and also the previous Vijay movie Sarkar was also released on Thursday.

The first look poster got a huge thumbs up from the fans and the audiences. It was almost was everyone expected to be. It is almost confirmed that Thalapathy Vijay will be seen again in a dual role of father and son.
