And finally, the wait is over, SSMB 26th film got launched on 31st May. The movie is titled as Sarileru Neekevvaru. The movie going to be directed by Anil Ravipudi and it will be his 5th movie as a director. His previous release F2 - Fun and Frustration was one of the most profitable movie of the year 2019.

On the occasion of Birthday of Krishna Garu, muharat of the movie was done at 09:18 am.
Mahesh Babu sir is for the first time going to play as an Army officer. It will be the next level of excitement and experience for all SSMB fans. Also, a new fresh pair of Super Star Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna will attract the audience to the theaters.

Also, the makers released a 1 min long tribute video to Mahesh Babu's awesome film career of 25 movies and completing his silver jubilee and launched the movie simultaneously with that video. There is no update for the first season of shoot for the movie. Right now, after the huge success of Maharshi, Mahesh Babu is spending time with his family and having fun with his children.

With Maharshi, Mahesh has zoomed past the worldwide theatrical revenue of Mahesh's previous best outing, Bharat Ane Nenu to become the top-grossing film of his career at the box-office. According to reports of FirstPost the worldwide ticket sales of the film Maharshi are estimated to be a whopping Rs 168 crores, crossing the worldwide gross of director Koratala Siva's blockbuster Bharat Ane Nenu which was a lifetime total of Rs 161 crores.
The poster also confirms that the film will hit the screens next year during the Sankranti festival.
The rest of the cast and crew will be announced in the coming months. Right now only Rashmika Mandanna is confirmed as lead actresses of the movie. She will also look in opposite to Allu Arjun in his upcoming 20th movie which is going to be directed by Sukumar.
